Grief engulfs Shahpur Jajan village in Gurdaspur as youth passes away due to cardiac arrest in Abu Dhabi

GURDASPUR: In a heart-wrenching incident, a young man from Shahpur Jajan village under Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district passed away in Abu Dhabi due to a sudden cardiac arrest. The deceased, Karandeep Singh (21), was the cherished only son of his parents, leaving the community in deep sorrow.

Karandeep Singh had set out for Mussafah in Abu Dhabi on October 31, 2022, and after a 35-day visit back home, he returned to Abu Dhabi on May 31. The family's last conversation with him took place on October 3, during which he appeared to be in good health and spirits.

However, tragedy struck on a fateful Wednesday around 10:00 when a friend received a distressing call, revealing that Karandeep Singh had suffered a severe heart attack and was rushed to the hospital. Despite the medical team's efforts, he was tragically declared deceased at the hospital. The loss of this vibrant young soul has left the family and the entire village in a state of profound grief.
