Accused in High-Profile Murder Case Faces Extended Detention Period

MANSA: In a significant development concerning the high-profile Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, Sachin Thapan, an accused in the case, was presented before the Mansa court by the police as his initial remand period concluded. The court, upon deliberation, decided to extend his remand for an additional five days, asserting the need for continued investigation. 

Notably, The next hearing is scheduled for October 10, where further details will be presented. Prior to this, Thapan received medical treatment at Shimla Hospital.

Thapan is alleged to be one of the key individuals involved in the plotting of the murder of Famous Punjabi Singer/Rapper Sidhu Moose Wala. Following Moosewala's tragic demise, Thapan managed to evade authorities and flee the country. However, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) apprehended him from abroad and brought him back to Delhi. Initially, Thapan was held in custody by Delhi's special cell. Recently, the Punjab Police coordinated his transfer from Delhi to Mansa for the ongoing investigation into the murder case.
