Punjab News: Counter Intelligence Bathinda, acting on specific intelligence and in coordination with Bathinda Police, has arrested three persons allegedly linked to the 'Arsh Dalla gang' for planning to execute a target killing, police said.
Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab, on Tuesday, stated that the police recovered four illegal pistols, four magazines, and 26 live cartridges from the possession of the arrested accused.
Police also recovered a car without a registration number.
The DGP said that, as per the preliminary investigation, the accused were in possession of illegal weapons and were planning to carry out a target killing.
He further highlighted that one of the arrested accused had recently arrived in Bathinda from Canada specifically to execute the planned shooting.
An FIR has been registered at Thermal Police Station in Bathinda. Further investigation is underway to uncover linkages.
