A Colossal 29x11 feet picture of Golden Temple replaces the iconic image of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib 

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann marked a momentous occasion by dedicating an expansive image of Sri Harmandir Sahib, commonly known as the Golden Temple, to the people at Sifti House within Punjab Civil Secretariat-1. The image, measuring an impressive 29 feet in length and 11 feet in height, replaces the decades-old picture of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib.

The Selection of this distinguished image was carefully curated by the Information and Public Relations Department, presenting several options to the Chief Minister. Printed on a special translite sheet, the image is accentuated by 150 LEDs positioned strategically to illuminate the divine representation.

Addressing the significance of Sri Harmandir Sahib, CM Bhagwant Mann highlighted its sanctity, especially for the Sikh community, deeming it the holiest place worldwide for Punjabis. He emphasized that this sacred site serves as a beacon of inspiration for all of humanity, encouraging unwavering dedication and integrity in the performance of duties. CM Mann expressed gratitude towards the divine, acknowledging the strength provided to serve the state and its people.

During the unveiling ceremony, Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department, Malwinder Singh Jaggi, along with Director Bhupinder Singh and Additional Director Sandeep Singh, joined various officers and employees to witness the historic event.
