Mandeep Singh and Saurabh Kumar Arrested in Mohali; Police Recover Firearm & Cartridges
KHARAR: Law enforcement authorities in Mohali, Punjab, have apprehended two associates of KTF operative Arshdeep Dalla, identified as Mandeep Singh, also known as Deepa, hailing from Dhudike village (Moga), and Saurabh Kumar, alias Sabi, a resident of Ludhiana. The arrests were made in connection with an alleged threat incident targeting a local individual in Kharar. A case has been filed against the two individuals under various sections of the Arms Act at the Sadar Kharar police station.
According to police sources, the accused had been sent to the area with intentions to intimidate someone by a foreign-based terrorist entity. The authorities were already monitoring both individuals, and on Monday night, acting on a tip-off, the police approached the accused near Captain Chowk in Khanpur village. Upon investigation, a 32 bore pistol and four cartridges were found from their possession.
Both Mandeep Singh and Saurabh Kumar have multiple cases registered against them in Ludhiana and Moga, and they are fugitives in these cases. The ongoing police interrogation is expected to yield crucial insights into their criminal activities. Authorities are particularly interested in uncovering any instances where the accused had extorted money under the guise of Arsh Dalla's influence by threatening individuals in the Tricity region.
