Punjab Floods: Various Institutions To Remain Closed Till September 7 Latest News: Punjab government has decided to keep various institutions in the state closed till September 7 as flood devastation continues amid fresh rainfall warnings.
AAP leader Aman Arora on Wednesday said that in view of the heavy rains and flood situation in Punjab, the institutions running under the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department - Skill Development Center, C-Pite Camp and Armed Forces Preparatory Institute will remain closed till September 7, 2025.

Weather nowcast for September 3, 2025: India Meteorological Department, Chandigarh, has issued an orange alert in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Rupnagar and SAS Nagar, warning of moderate rainfall for the next 3 hours.
Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued in Nawashahr, Fatehgarh Saheb, and Patiala for light rainfall under the same cast and no alert has been issued in the remaining districts.
In the forecast for today, the northeastern and eastern districts of the state are warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall.
