Punjab Floods; Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan To Visit Punjab Tomorrow, Latest News: The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Minister of Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Wednesday morning said he would visit Punjab tomorrow morning and would meet people in flood-affected areas.

The minister said he spoke to the governor of Punjab, the chief minister, and the Agriculture Minister of the state and obtained detailed information about the ongoing floods in the state.

“I will reach Punjab tomorrow morning and meet my brothers and sisters in the flood-affected areas. In this hour of crisis, the Central Government stands firmly with the brothers and sisters of Punjab and will provide all possible assistance,” he added a post on X.

His post came three hours after the leader of the opposition and MP Rahul Gandhi’s video post on X , urging the centre for an immediate release of special relief package (Special Relief Package) for Punjab and other severely flood-affected states.

According to reports, Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit inundated villages in Punjab. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not spoken about the devastation in the state yet.
