Punjab's Amritsar Murder Near Golden Temple News Today: In a shocking incident, an account clerk of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) was allegedly killed by a ‘sewadar’ following a personal dispute between them on Saturday.
According to information, the incident took place in the SGPC office of Teja Singh Samundri Hall near Golden Temple at around 1.15 pm on Saturday.
The accused has been reportedly identified as Sukhbir Singh who attacked Darbara Singh with Sri Sahib in the chest after which he was left critically injured.
Darbara Singh was rushed to Guru Ram Das Hospital near Gurdwara Shaheedan Sahib. Unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead.
In the meantime, an eyewitness, who fainted after the incident, was taken to Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Vallah.
On the other hand, Sukhbir escaped immediately after the incident. Prima facie, a family dispute is being considered a reason behind the incident.
