Punjab Weather Update: In a significant weather update, Punjab is currently grappling with an intensifying cold wave, disrupting normal life across the state. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts, cautioning residents to remain vigilant until at least 5th January.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a slight change in the weather pattern after 4-5 January. Yellow alerts have been issued for Pathankot, Ropar, and S.A.S. Nagar, while Fazilka, Muktsar, Faridkot, Sangrur, and other districts are under an orange alert, including Ludhiana, Amritsar, and Patiala. The alerts indicate that the cold wave is expected to persist, warranting increased precautionary measures.
