Tragic Incident has cast a pall of Sorrow over the Community

ABOHAR: A Heart-Wrenching Incident unfolded in Abohar late on Friday evening as a young girl tragically lost her life after being struck by a speeding car. The incident occurred as the girl was returning home from the fields, leaving her seriously injured, and she subsequently passed away during the course of her treatment this morning. 

The victim, identified as Seema, the wife of Chinderpal, had been returning home after a day of harvesting in the fields. Accompanying her was her 5-year-old daughter, Nisha, along with several other children. As they reached a road while on their way home, tragedy struck. Reports indicate that as Seema and the children attempted to cross the road, an oncoming Fortuner car, driven recklessly, collided with the girl. The impact of the collision left her with severe injuries, prompting an immediate response from concerned bystanders.

She was swiftly transported to the government hospital for initial medical attention. However, her injuries proved to be grave, and in the interest of her well-being, she was referred to the medical facilities in Faridkot following the initial treatment. Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, the girl's life could not be saved, and she succumbed to her injuries during the course of her treatment this morning.
