MRSAFPI Honours 8 Defence Officers Commissioned in 2025
The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) organised a ceremony to acknowledge the accomplishments of its alumni by presenting Achiever Awards to eight newly commissioned officers. This initiative is in line with the CM Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government’s resolve to nurture the aspirations of the young people in the state.
The Achiever Award ceremony honoured eight AFPIANs, who joined the Defence Services in 2025. Out of these, seven officers were commissioned during November–December 2025, while the remaining one officer was commissioned in March 2025. During the interaction session, the officers shared their experiences at pre-commissioning training academies with the cadets currently undergoing training, encouraging them to bring glory to the State and the Nation.
Mr Aman Arora, Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister, congratulated the eight awardees and remarked that their achievements would inspire Punjab’s youth to serve the nation with dignity and add to the state’s pride.
Director MRSAFPI, Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (Retd), extended his congratulations to the young officers on their commissioning and expressed confidence that the foundation laid during their training at MRSAFPI would continue to serve as a strong platform for excellence in their professional military careers. He further said that the Punjab Government provides robust support to the institute, and under the leadership of CM Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Mr Aman Arora, many opportunities are being created for Punjab’s youth to join the Defence Forces.
