Kotakpura Firing Case: Former DGP Sumedh Saini Appear in Court of Faridkot Today

The Court ordered DGP to appear in Court on April 12

FARIDKOT: The former DGP of Punjab, Sumedh Singh Saini was presented in the court of Faridkot today (Saturday, April 1).The SIT investigating the Kotakpura firing case presented a challan in the court of Faridkot in which former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal and besides them Sumedh Singh Saini, Paramraj Umranangal, Charanjit Singh Sharma, Gurdeep Singh Pandher, Amar Singh Chahal and Sukhmindar Singh Mann were nominated.

Notably, The Nominated people, after getting bail from the High Court in 129 FRI cases, appeared in the court of Faridkot and paid their bail in 129 and 192 and got copies of the challan and also paid Rs 5 lakh each.

Sumedh Saini's lawyer Gagandeep Singh shared the information and said that Sumedh Saini appeared in the court of Faridkot today after getting bail from the High Court. Copies of the challans were obtained and the installments of Rs 5 lakh each were paid in both the cases. The court has ordered him to appear in the court again on April 12 along with the other nominees.
