CM Mann addressed a large gathering of business leaders; the Chief Minister presented Punjab as a stable, transparent, and future-ready investment destination. He highlighted the state’s strong industrial ecosystem, including a reliable and cost-effective power supply, peaceful labour relations, a skilled and hard-working workforce, and excellent connectivity to major markets, which, according to him, make Punjab one of the most attractive places for global investors. Mann reiterated that his government follows an investor-centric governance model aimed at predictability, efficiency, and full support throughout the business journey.

During the roadshow, the Chief Minister emphasised Punjab’s vision to build technology-driven and innovation-led collaborations with South Korea, particularly across key domains. He said the state is open for new partnerships in manufacturing, technology, food processing, research, and other emerging sectors. Mann added that the government aims to strengthen both economic and cultural ties with South Korea to build a future of shared prosperity.

The Chief Minister also highlighted key reforms undertaken by the state, such as the FastTrack Punjab single-window system offering 173 services, auto-deemed approvals, PAN-based business identifiers, and amendments to the Punjab Right to Business Act, which ensure timely in-principle approvals. He also noted that Invest Punjab has already facilitated on-ground investments worth over INR 1.4 lakh crore. He said that his approach is rooted in partnership, where government and industry work as equal collaborators.

He further added that the Seoul roadshow witnessed participation from a wide range of corporate leaders, financial advisors, R&D bodies, trade associations, and members of the Indian and Punjabi diaspora. Senior representatives from Bloomberg, BRICS India Trade Pvt. Ltd., legal firms Kim and Chang and Shin and Kim LLC, KOTRA, Daeyoung Corp., Gawon International Co. Ltd., TagHive, the Punjabi Association of Korea, Inmac Global, and other organisations attended the event. He said that their participation reflects strong institutional interest in exploring business opportunities with Punjab.

He described the Seoul event as a milestone in Punjab’s international outreach and reaffirmed that the state is positioning itself as a reliable, future-ready global investment destination.
