Manish Sisodia Appears Before ACB in Delhi Classroom Construction Scam Probe

New Delhi, June 20, 2025: Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia appeared before the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) on Friday in connection with the alleged Delhi classroom construction scam, the ANI reported.

According to Joint Commissioner of Police, ACB, Government of NCT of Delhi, Sisodia arrived at the ACB office at 11:00 AM for questioning related to the case, which involves irregularities and large-scale corruption in the construction of classrooms and school infrastructure in Delhi government schools. The project allegedly witnessed inflated costs and procedural violations, prompting a formal investigation.

The ACB stated that Sisodia was examined in the presence of an independent ‘Panch’ witness, and his statements were recorded concerning various facts and circumstances of the case. The questioning session concluded at 2:30 PM, after which the former minister left the premises.

Authorities have confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, and further proceedings will follow based on the findings from today’s examination.
