Before the padyatra began, AAP released its official theme song for this programme — “Main Desh Bachane Nikla Hoon”.The song is composed by Bilal Bhai and sung by “Altamash Faridi”. This song sets a patriotic and emotional tone for the campaign. It captures the spirit of raising voice against inequality and work for  unity. Party leaders said the track reflects AAP’s message of accountability and people’s empowerment.

The padyatra started from Ayodhya after morning prayers at the banks of the Saryu River. Over the next 12 days, participants will travel through “Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, and Kaushambi”, They will meet local residents and highlight issues such as unemployment, inflation etc..

Addressing the crowd, AAP’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge said, “This padyatra is not about politics alone — it’s about people’s right to work, live with dignity, and be treated equally. Uttar Pradesh deserves real development, not empty slogans.”

Local youth and social activists joined the initial leg of the journey, echoing the demand for fair job opportunities and social inclusion. Security arrangements have been made along the route, and traffic diversions are in place in key areas.

Political analysts believe the padyatra is AAP’s attempt to expand its footprint in India’s largest state by focusing on livelihood and justice — issues that resonate with the state’s younger voters. The campaign will conclude in “Prayagraj on November 24”, where the party is planning to hold a public rally and release a “People’s Report” summarizing feedback gathered from citizens during this march.
