The winter session of the parliament is currently underway and is scheduled to be concluded on the 19th of December.
West Bengal BJP President & MP, Samik Bhattacharya, on Thursday made serious claims, saying a “silent demographic invasion” is allegedly currently underway and an “international conspiracy” to make West Bengal part of Bangladesh.
Speaking to the media outside the parliament today, MP Samik Bhattacharya said, "...There is only one state in India that has an open border spanning 400 kilometres, and illegal migration is a regular feature there. Therefore, the situation in West Bengal, compared to other states, is different.”
Bhattacharya claimed, “A silent demographic invasion is happening there. This is an international conspiracy to make West Bengal into West Bengladesh. Bengal is a state where Rohingyas are being invited, where the ruling party leaders openly say that no Bangladeshi's name should be left from the voter list...”
“Due to this, the demographic balance of Bihar and Jharkhand is also disturbed... With SIR, there will be purification of many things there..." he further claimed.
