31 members of the Working Committee have been appointed

Shiromani Akali Dal Announces Working Committee: Proper Representation to Every Section Of Society: For the first time in the history of Shiromani Akali Dal, proper representation has been given to common families and every section of society.

In accordance with the resolution passed at the General Session of Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjeet), a 41-member Working Committee has been announced. In addition, 15 special invitees have been appointed. The party president, Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, approved the Working Committee today after consulting with senior leadership.

Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjeet) has ensured proper representation for all sections of society in the Working Committee. For the first time, the youth have been given significant representation at a large scale. Keeping inclusivity in mind, dedicated workers from every section have been included in the committee.

In light of the resolutions passed on 11 August 2025 during the General Session held at Sri Amritsar Sahib, 31 members of the Working Committee have been appointed with the approval of the session. Additionally, the party president has nominated 10 more members to the Working Committee and also appointed 15 special invitees.
