Bajwa said that the law and order in the state has collapsed under the AAP state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. 

A young Congress leader from Dharamkot belonging to the Schedule Caste community was shot dead by gangsters today, said Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa.

Bajwa said that the deceased, Umarsir Singh alias Sheera Bhinder, had ensured AAP’s defeat in the Block Samiti polls, and following which his family allegedly faced threats.

Bajwa said that the law and order in the state has collapsed under the AAP state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. 

“Is this the cost of standing up to power and defending democracy?” Bajwa, who is also the leader of the opposition in the Punjab Legislative Assembly, questioned.
