Sukhbir Badal has been detained while en route to Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib

Sukhbir Singh Badal Detained in Mohali: In a major development, Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has been detained in Mohali while en route to Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib.

Earlier, Sukhbir Singh Badal was targeting the AAP-led Punjab Government for taking action against Bikram Singh Majithia, who has been arrested in the money laundering case. 

To Sukhbir Singh Badal's statement, Punjab AAP President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said, "Today we are witnessing how Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal is misleading all of Punjab through certain media channels by claiming that thousands of Akali Dal workers are being stopped from reaching Bikram Singh Majithia’s court appearance. I want to ask Badal Sahib, first, do you even have thousands of workers left across Punjab at this time? Because the actions of the past decade have turned the Akali Dal into a 'Khaali Dal'..."
