Aizawl: A woman and her one-year-old daughter were killed in a hit-and-run incident in central Mizoram's Serchhip district today, police said.

The incident happened at Thenzawl town in the district, the police said. The driver did not stop the vehicle after hitting the woman and her daughter, they said.
The post-mortem examination will be carried out today, a police officer said. An investigation has been initiated and efforts are on to nab the vehicle's driver, the officer said. PTI
