Shimla: Two persons were killed while many others injured when a trolley truck carrying a marriage party overturned near Jwalamukhi here today, the police said. According to police sources, the truck suddenly started moving backwards on a steep mountain road and as the driver applied the brakes, it overturned.

A woman was crushed under the wheels of the truck, while another person, who was seriously injured in the incident, succumbed to the injuries as he was being taken to the hospital, the sources said. The injured were referred to the Government Medical College at Tanda in Kangra district, they said, adding that the bodies of the victims were sent for post-mortem.
