New Delhi: The second edition of Super Sikh Run -- a half marathon event, will be held here on December 10, the organisers announced today.

The run will begin from capital's 250-year-old historic site of Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib.

Hero Electric, the market leader in electric mobility in India, is the lead partner of this edition and will present a Cool Hero Electric Optima to the winner, a release said.

Major DP Singh -- an ex-armyman who lost almost half of his body to a mortar explosion during combat at the LoC and is now India's first blade runner, will be seen in action.

The Race Day T-Shirt was today launched in the presence of former athlete Gurbachan Singh Randhawa, who won a gold medal at the 1962 Asian Games in decathlon.

Denim brand Numero Uno is the apparel partner for the run.
