Siblings killed in road accident

Darbhanga: Two siblings were killed today when a motorcycle they were riding collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction in Bihar's Darbhanga district, police said.

The incident happened on the Darbhanga-Madhubani road near Hajipur village under the jurisdiction of Kevti police station.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Javed (22) and Mohammad Tabrez (27), Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilnawaz Ahmad said.

The bodies were sent to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination, he said, adding, the driver of the bus fled the spot along with the vehicle. PTI
