RM Suresh prabhu ‘offers to resign’, PM asks him ‘to wait’

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu indicated on Wednesday using Twitter handle that he has offered a resign after taking moral responsibility for the two recent train accidents took place in UP but PM Narendra Modi has asked him to wait.

He tweeted, “I met the Hon'ble Prime Minister @narendramodi taking full moral responsibility. Hon’ble PM has asked me to wait.”

Recently, Kaifyat Express derailment led to the death of 22 people and over 70 people seriously injured.

Suresh Prabhu has shown his grief among the deceased and the injured in the derailment. There were two derailment within a week, for which he offered his resignation but was declined as Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked jim ‘to wait’.
