Over 10 lakh bank staff on strike today

Chandigarh: Sanjeev Kumar Bandlish, convener, United Forum of Bank Unions (Chandigarh) and general secretary, National Confederation of Bank Employees, said on Monday over 10 lakh officers and award staff will observe one-day strike across the country on Tuesday to protest the government’s “anti-people” banking reforms. Bandlish also slammed the move to privatise public sector bank.
