Baghpat: A minor girl was allegedly raped by an unknown person here, police said today. The girl was on her way to a relative's place yesterday when the accused dragged her to a nearby sugarcane field and raped her, they said.
The girl informed her parents immediately and the matter was brought to the police. A medical examination of the girl was conducted, Circle Officer Sanjeev Suman said, adding that a case was registered against the accused.
