New Delhi: A 34-year-old man, wanted in several cases and carrying a cash reward
of Rs 50,000, has been arrested by Delhi Police, a police official said
today.
According to police, Nadeem, a resident of North East
Delhi, was arrested on a tip-off and a country-made pistol with two live
cartridges was seized from his possession, he said.
"During
interrogation, he disclosed that he used to grab disputed properties and
during one such dispute he killed a man and also tried to burn the body
to conceal the identity," the police official said.
For the last five months, he was evading arrest by changing his hideouts regularly, he said.
He
regularly changed his mobile numbers to conceal his position and
changed around 20 mobile numbers during his run, the police said.
