Kabaddi player surrenders in court in dowry case

Muzaffarnagar: A state-level Kabaddi player from Haryana today surrendered in a court here in connection with a dowry harassment case against him.

Acting Chief Judicial Magistrate Piyush Siddhartha released Abhishek Deshwal on interim bail after he furnished bail bond of two sureties of Rs 25,000 up to January 9, 2018. Deshwal, who is from Haryana, is married in Pinna village in Muzaffarnagar district. A dowry harassment case is filed against him here.
