The Election Commission is watching video recordings of the voting. This comes amid confusion on whether Congress leader Ahmed Patel got the 45 votes he needed to make it to the Rajya Sabha. Initial reports said he got 43 from his own party and one each from the NCP and JD(U). But JD(U) later claimed its MLA toed the party line and voted for the BJP. The drama never seems to end.
