Yeh Hain Mohabbatein star Divyanka Tripathi has asked Prime Minister Naredra Modi to take stern action against rapists. The television actor is distraught at the news of a minor girl who was raped on her way to an Independence Day function at her school in Chandigarh.

Divyanka made several posts on the issue and even revealed how she is now scared to give birth to a girl. “What ‘Save the daughters’? Didn’t want a son but now I am scared to give birth to daughter. What will I tell her? Why did I push her out into hell from a heaven?,” she had written on Tuesday.

“Women must stop voting for any party as they are so unimportant for this nation! It’s a ‘No Woman’s Land’ or a #RapistsParadise we live in!,” she added.
