Global Trust in Indian Skill: PM Says India-EU Trade Pact to Benefit Millions of Youths

The Prime Minister highlighted that the global community now views India’s youth with significant trust, attributing this to their "skill and sanskar" (culture). Referring to his previous message from the Red Fort, he asserted that this is the "right time" for the nation’s youth to benefit from maximum opportunities.

PM Modi cited the India-EU FTA, described as a "landmark" agreement, as a primary example of these expanding horizons. He said that India has also successfully secured trade agreements with countries including Britain, the UAE, Australia, Oman, New Zealand, and Mauritius.

According to the report, the India-EU deal, billed as the "mother of all deals", aims to create a market of two billion people. The partnership includes a transformative five-year agenda focused on trade and defence.

"Alongside the trade deal, a new framework for security and defence was established, complemented by a landmark talent mobility pact. These agreements were formalised after Prime Minister Modi hosted European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa for high-level summit talks in the capital."

The Prime Minister emphasised that the government is committed to ensuring the youth receive the maximum benefits of this historic period.
