Strict Restrictions on Social Media Content Creation During Char Dham Yatra latest news: This year's Char Dham Yatra, set to commence on April 30, will see strict restrictions on YouTubers and social media content creators within temple premises. The Kedarnath-Badrinath Panda Samaj has strongly opposed the practice of filming video content in temple areas, declaring that anyone found creating reels or YouTube videos will be denied darshan (audience with the deity) and sent back.

The Panda Samaj has already notified the administration and held discussions with the state government regarding this new regulation.

The pilgrimage will begin on April 30 (Akshay Tritiya) with the opening of the Gangotri and Yamunotri temple gates. Kedarnath will follow on May 2, and Badrinath will open on May 4, marking the complete start of the Char Dham Yatra.

To ensure smooth management during adverse weather conditions, ten designated holding areas are being established at Haridwar, Rishikesh, Byasi, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Sonprayag, Herbertpur, Vikasnagar, Barkot, and Bhatwari.

These zones will be equipped with essential facilities such as water, toilets, bedding, medicines, and emergency food supplies, providing a safe and comfortable stay for pilgrims in case of delays. Additionally, the entire yatra route will be divided into 10-kilometer sectors, with six police personnel patrolling each sector on motorcycles to assist devotees during emergencies.

Within just six days, over 9 lakh pilgrims have registered for the Char Dham Yatra. The majority of registrations—2.75 lakh—are for Kedarnath, followed by Badrinath (2.24 lakh), Gangotri (1.38 lakh), Yamunotri (1.34 lakh), and Hemkund Sahib (8,000).

This year's pilgrimage promises to be a sacred yet strictly regulated experience for devotees.
