Viral Video From Himalayas: A video has gone viral all over the social media in which a Mahayogi can be seen meditating in freezing temperatures in the Himalayas. In the video, the yogi can be seen meditating amidst snow and wind and he himself, is covered in snow from head to toe. 

The viral video on social media is sparking awe and curiosity among the viewers. However, the video has also raised doubts about its authenticity, as some people have claimed that it is AI-generated or edited.

Let’s know the story behind the viral video:

The yogi in the video is Mahayogi Satyendra Nath, a follower of the Siddha Himalayan yoga tradition, which dates back to ancient times and involves rigorous training and discipline.

He has been practising yoga at the Kaulantak Peeth ashram for the past 20 to 22 years.

The video was captured by his disciple Rahul, who often accompanies him and documents his practices.

Rahul said that Satyendra Nath was in a deep meditative state at a temperature of -55°C, and that he did not feel any discomfort or cold. The type of meditation is called ‘Tumma’.
