Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Will Likely Have 16 Coaches

India’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train launch date route and ticket price: The wait of the countrymen is likely to end soon as India’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train is expected to start operations soon. 

According to information, the operations of India’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train are expected to start before August 15, 2024. Initially, the train will operate between Delhi and Mumbai via Gujarat.

Indian Tech & Infra took to its official X (formally Twitter) handle to announce the news. The account tweeted, 'India's first Vande Bharat sleeper train is expected to start operations before August 15. The train will initially operate between Delhi and Mumbai via Gujarat.'

Furthermore, the reports suggest that the manufacturing of the sleeper train is currently in its final stages in Bengaluru and the train will likely have 16 coaches; among them, 10 will be reserved for the third AC while 4 of them will be reserved for the second AC, and one coach will be reserved for the first AC. 

Likewise, the train will have two Seating cum Luggage Rake (SLR) coaches as well. The train is expected to run at a speed of 130 km/h during the first phase of its launch while the speed of the train will gradually be increased from 160 km/h to 220 km/h later on. 

In the meanwhile, there has been no information related to the ticket price as of now.
