New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce class 10, 12 board results by July 15, board's exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said.
CBSE BoardClass 12 students will get a chance to sit for optional exams to improve score, Bhardwaj said, adding that if class 12 students appear for optional exams, marks obtained will be treated as final score.
The Centre and the CBSE on Thursday had informed the apex Court that they have decided to cancel the Class X and XII examinations scheduled from July 1-15 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and they would be conducted later.
CBSE board results Universities and schools across the country have been closed since March 16 when the Centre announced a countrywide classroom shutdown as one of the measures to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.
Later, a nationwide lockdown was announced on March 24.
