CISCE ISC Board Chemistry exam 2024 postponed new date, paper leak news: Amid the reports of the ISC Chemistry exam paper leak, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations on Monday postponed the ISC Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) exam which was scheduled to be held on Monday (February 26), hours before the scheduled time of 2 pm, due to “unforeseen circumstances.” 

In the meanwhile, the new date has also been announced and now, the exam will be held on Thursday (March 21) at 2 pm, the council said. Reportedly, the notice was issued by the deputy secretary of the council. However, Sangeets did not mention the reason behind the same. 

While the council has not given any reason behind the cancellation of the paper, just two hours before the start of the exam, there are speculations that the question paper was leaked somewhere. Therefore, the council decided to cancel the exam at the last moment ensuring the sanctity of the exam.

The cancellation of the exam has indeed caused inconvenience to thousands of students, as the announcement was made just two hours before the schedule. The students said that the council is answerable and should explain why the examination was canceled. 

Many of the students were those who got to know about the postponement after they reached the examination center. Notably, the ISC exam started on February 12 and will end on April 3.
