His vision is reflected in schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government which are centred around people living in penury," Rawat said at a function held at an ashram for lepers here to mark Upadhyaya's birth anniversary. Citing the instances of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana and other schemes like doubling the income of farmers or providing a house to every poor by 2022, Rawat said all these schemes were designed to benefit the poor and take development to everyone. He also distributed free LPG connections on the occasion among eligible beneficiaries. Under the Atal Ayushman Yojana the state government will soon be giving health insurance coverage to 22.5 lakh families of the state, the Chief Minister added.
