Agniveer Lalit Kumar News: In a tragic incident on Friday, an agniveer of the 7 JAT Regiment lost his life in the line of duty following a landmine blast, confirmed the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army.

Agniveer Lalit Kumar made the supreme sacrifice while on an area domination patrol in the general area of Krishna Ghati Brigade (Jammu and Kashmir) on 25 July 2025.

The GOC of the White Knight Corps and all ranks paid a solemn tribute to Agniveer Lalit Kumar, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the patrol. "We stand with the bereaved family in this hour of grief," the White Knight Corps said in a post on X.

The incident also left two others injured. According to NDTV, one of the injured is a JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer), who has been shifted to a military hospital and is reported to be stable.
