The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY), launched in 2025, is a major government initiative aimed at promoting job creation and formal employment, offering incentives to both employers and first-time employees. A major update has been announced for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY), as the first instalment under the scheme is scheduled to be released by the end of March. Members and establishments have been reminded of strict compliance requirements, as failure to follow the directives may lead to beneficiaries missing out on payments.

Under the scheme, all new joiners and first-time members must complete verification of their Universal Account Number (UAN) through Face Authentication Technology (FAT). Without this digital verification, benefits will not be processed. Members encountering technical issues during verification are advised to visit their regional EPFO office for support.

The scheme’s funds will be directly credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. It is crucial for members’ accounts to be DBT-enabled. Those whose accounts are not linked are instructed to contact their bank branches promptly to ensure smooth fund transfers.

Employers and institutions also carry responsibility for compliance. Establishments failing to file their Electronic Challan-cum-Return (ECR) on time or delaying contribution deposits may face restrictions, preventing their employees from accessing scheme benefits. Authorities have urged all organisations to maintain timely filings and contributions to ensure uninterrupted release of the instalments.

Beneficiaries and institutions are therefore encouraged to complete UAN verification, enable DBT accounts, and adhere to all filing and contribution requirements to guarantee the first PMVBRY instalment is received without delay.
