Delhi Government to Present CAG Reports Highlighting AAP's Financial Irregularities latest news: The BJP led goverment in delhi, under CM Rekha Gupta, during the second day of the eighth legislative assembly session on Tuesday, presents 14 reports by Comptroller Auditor General (CAG). These reports are expected to highlight financial irregularities during the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
Delhi BJP president Virendraa Sachdeva, in an interview with ANI, said, "The CAG report is a roll call of the black acts of AAP. We had assured the people of Delhi in the elections that whoever has indulged in corruption will have to face the music. Today, we hope that after the speech of the Lieutenant Governor (LG), when the CAG report is presented, all their black acts will be placed before the people of Delhi."
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa seconded Sachdeva's views, stating, "Today, the CAG report, which brought the scams of Arvind Kejriwal government to light, will be brought in the Delhi Assembly. Arvind Kejriwal had kept it secret for the past 3 years. 14 such reports will be brought one by one. Arvind Kejriwal had kept the report secret all these years as he knew his loot, scams, and corruption would be revealed."
Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh further stated, ". The outcome of the 'AAP-da' government has been catastrophic. All its ministers were arrested. A CAG report of all their ministries will be tabled. The CAG report will speak for itself."
The reports will be tabled after the address of the LG in the Assembly. Thereafter, the Assembly will throw open the floor for the motion of thanks on the LG's address. The motion of thanks debate is to be started at 11:00 AM on February 26, followed by the election of the Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Assembly.
