Bengaluru Stampede Case: Victim’s Parent Files Complaint Over Missing Gold During Autopsy
Bengaluru Stampede Case Latest News: A parent of one of the victims of the stampede that claimed 11 lives near the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 4 has filed a police complaint, ANI reported. The complaint, lodged at Commercial Street Police Station on Thursday, alleges that gold ornaments worn by the victim went missing during the autopsy.
According to the complaint, the jewelry was on the victim’s body when it was taken into the post-mortem section for autopsy, but was later unaccounted for.
In a major development in the Bengaluru stampede case, the Karnataka government on Thursday gave its approval to initiate proceedings against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), and certain police officials for alleged security lapses and negligence.

Earlier, the Karnataka government had constituted a one-man inquiry commission under retired High Court judge Justice John Michael D’Cunha to probe the tragedy. The Karnataka Cabinet has now accepted the findings of the commission.
According to a report by Moneycontrol, the Cabinet officially endorsed the conclusions of the Justice D’Cunha Inquiry Commission earlier today.
