As the Christmas celebration continues, similar incidents are surfacing.
Anju Bhargava, BJP District Vice President Anju Bhargava mistreating a visually impaired Christian woman in in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur during a Christian event, has gone viral on social media platforms.
In the video, the visually impaired Christian woman can be seen seated on a chair next to a child, when the BJP’s Anju Bhargava gets physical by grabbing the seated woman’s face with force.
Fact-Checker and co-founder Alt News, Mohammad Zubair in a post on his X account, wrote , “Anju Bhargava, along with members of the Hindu Raksha Dal, entered a church and began misbehaving, accusing those present of religious conversion.”
According to an India Today report, Anju Bhargava, along with workers of several Hindu organizations, alleged religious conversions.
The Christmas event was held in the community hall behind Hawabagh Church, with the BJP leader and the Hindu organisations claiming the religious site did not have permission for the same, the India Today report added.
