Indian Visa Application Center in Bangladesh Suspends Visa Operations at IVAC Chittagong

It added that the announcement regarding the reopening of the visa center will be made after reviewing the situation.

Bangladesh Unrest: The Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Bangladesh announced on Sunday that Indian visa operations at IVAC Chittagong will remain suspended from December 21, 2025, until further notice due to a recent security incident at AHCI Chittagong.

It added that the announcement regarding the reopening of the visa center will be made after reviewing the situation.

IVAC operates sixteen centers spread across Bangladesh, the latest being opened in Kushtia on 16.04.2023.

Chittagong is Bangladesh's second-largest city ,located in the southeast on the Karnaphuli River.
