Sources reveal that CCTV footage shows a suspect at the scene wearing a white T-shirt the night before the explosion.
According to police sources, the explosive device was hidden in a polythene bag and planted in a pit about half to one foot deep, later covered with garbage. The explosion, which occurred on Sunday morning, caused damage to nearby vehicles and properties but resulted in no injuries.
A First Information Report (FIR) was filed under the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act and the Indian Explosives Act. The FIR notes a hole in the school's boundary wall and damage to nearby shop windows and signboards caused by the blast.
