Haryana Congress expels 7 leaders from the party before municipal elections: During the prepration for the coming municipal elections in Haryana, Congress party has initiated significant steps. The party has expelled seven leaders for conducting anti-party activities. As per a notice from Haryana Congress President Uday Bhan, the seven leaders have been expelled from the party for six years with immediate effect.

The leaders expelled:
- Trilochan Singh and Ashok Khurana, past DCC presidents of Karnal
- Party leaders Pradeep Chaudhary and Madhu Chaudhary from Yamunanagar
- Senior leader Ram Niwas Rara of Hisar
- Gurugram party leader Harvinder
- Ram Kishan Sain, Pradesh Congress Committee representative from Gurugram

The notification says that amid the current process of the civic polls, it was informed of these leaders taking part in anti-party activities and hence being expelled for six years. The step was taken following consultation with BK Hariprasad, the party in-charge of affairs in Haryana.

The move to oust such leaders by the Congress party reiterates its emphasis on loyalty and discipline in its ranks. The party wishes to uphold its values and beliefs and ensure it does not crumble from the inside.
