2 killed in accident

Balasore (Odisha): Two persons, including a patient, were killed and two others were injured when an ambulance carrying them rammed into a stationary truck on a national highway near Soro today, police said.  

The four persons hailing from Mirzapur village in Midnapur district of West Bengal were going to Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital.

The ambulance hit the truck at its rear and under the impact of the collision, two persons died on the spot.  

The two seriously injured were taken to the Cuttack hsopital, the police said. The deceased have been identified as Bulbul Bibi (40) and her brother Sk Liqa. PTI
