Railways Announces Expansion of Vande Bharat, Promising Quicker Connectivity to Punjab

Vande Bharat Express News: In a move set to enhance railway connectivity, the Vande Bharat Express, plying from Ajmer to Delhi via Jaipur, is now set to reach Chandigarh. The Railways, aiming to streamline travel for passengers in North Western Railway, will soon announce the commencement date for this extended route.

The Vande Bharat Express will kick off its journey from Ajmer at 6:55 am, embarking on a route that encompasses Delhi, Jaipur, and now, Chandigarh. The train is scheduled to reach Chandigarh at 2:45 pm on the same day. Subsequently, it will commence its return journey from Chandigarh, passing through Delhi and Jaipur to reach Ajmer.

To facilitate this extended journey, a slight increase in the speed of the Vande Bharat Express is expected. The Railways is working towards optimizing travel time and ensuring a seamless experience for passengers along the expanded route.

The Extension of the Vande Bharat route brings good news for passengers traveling to Punjab from Ajmer, Jaipur, and Delhi. The direct connectivity to Chandigarh promises a more convenient and time-efficient travel option. Residents of Alwar and Gurgaon are also set to reap the benefits of this extended service.
