NTA UGC NET EXAM 2025 POSTPONED LATEST NEWS: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC NET exam originally scheduled for January 15, 2025 (Wednesday), citing the observance of Pongal, Makar Sankranti, and other festivals. The updated exam date is yet to be announced.
According to an official notice released by the NTA on January 13, 2025, the decision was made in response to representations from candidates requesting a rescheduling. The NTA confirmed that the exam on January 16, 2025, will proceed as planned.
UGC NET January 16 Exam Schedule
Candidates appearing for the January 16, 2025, examination can refer to the official schedule and shift timings.
The UGC NET December 2024 session exams were initially scheduled between January 3 and January 16, 2025. The NTA conducts the UGC NET exam in CBT mode across 85 subjects, facilitating Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awards, Assistant Professor appointments, and Ph.D. admissions.
