New Delhi: Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Rs 20 lakh crore package to boost the economy during the Corona crisis. This was stated by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in a press conference here today.
Nirmala SitharamanShe said that out of the package of Rs 20 lakh crore, Rs 3 lakh crore would be given to MSMEs i.e. micro, small and medium enterprises. The term of the loan will be of 4 years. They will get 12 months exemption. This offer is valid till October 31, 2020.
Meanwhile, she said that those MSMEs who are under stress would be provided cash amount of Rs 25000 crore by the date of submission. SAEs come in small and medium businesses.
Narendra ModiThe Finance Minister said that DBT has been transferred to the account of Jan Dhan account holders.
