As per the eyewitness, Rekha Gupta was in shock after the incident took place. 

Rekha Gupta Attack in Delhi Jan Sunvai Latest News Today: In a shocking development, the Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, was attacked on Wednesday during her weekly Jan Sunvai, public hearing session, which is held at her Civil Lines house. 

The Delhi CMO stated that a man tried to assault the Chief Minister while she was listening to the people's issues. "The accused has been detained and is being questioned," the CMO said. 

As per the eyewitness, Rekha Gupta was in shock after the incident took place. 

Delhi CM was hearing the grievances of people who gathered at Jan Sunvai when she suddenly heard noise from behind. By the time we looked back, the police had taken the attacker away, another eyewitness said.  

While condemning the incident, Delhi BJP president Virendraa Sachdeva called it a "breach of security" and demanded accountability. 

The attacker was immediately held and taken to the Civil Lines Police Station for questioning.
